During these uncertain times of Covid-19 please be assured that Earswick has a band of local resident Volunteers.  Assistance with shopping for supplies  and collection of medications ( your safety would not be compromised, items can be left outside).

A phone call for a social chat or making arrangements to assist with dog walking, we are happy to help where circumstances allow.

VE DAY 75 – Sunday 10th May 2020


Due to coronavirus Covid-19 this event has, unfortunately, been cancelled.  


To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE DAY the Parish Council is organising a VE DAY 75 celebration that will take place on Sunday 10th May 2020 between 1pm and 7.00pm in and around the Village Hall.

As well as the village hall a marquee will be available to use in the event of bad weather.

Please bring your own tables, chairs and gazebos.

A wide variety of activities will be available for children of all ages including face painting, inflatable assault course, speedkix football challenge, zorbing and for older children and adults Rodeo Bull. All included in the ticket price.

Live music will be provided throughout the afternoon performed by the RI Development Brass Band, Dynamic Band and The Pokies.

A hog roast is also included in the price of the ticket with burgers and sausages available for children plus Vegan and Gluten free options.

Tickets are on sale now costing just £10 per adult and £5 per child (3-12). You will need a ticket to get your food and for children a wrist band to allow access to the free events.
