The Village Hall exists to provide community facilities and room hire for individuals or groups. The Hall is available to showcase a wide range of village activities, including anniversary parties for adults and children (no teenage, 20th or 21st parties), private functions, conferences, meetings, events, quiz nights and various classes.
Unfortunately bouncy castles or other inflatables cannot be used either inside the Hall or outside on the open spaces.
To apply to book the hall, please email the Council at earswickvillagehall@aol.com, and remember to include all the details about your request. The booking will appear as an entry in the Village Hall Calendar – the description can be ‘Private’ if you prefer.
The Venue
As from 1st April 2026 it will cost £17 per hour to hire the Village Hall (currently it costs £16 per hour) and it will costs £15 per hour for regular bookings (currently it costs £14/hour). It has a maximum capacity of 60 people and includes amenities such as:

- Male, female & disabled toilets
- Parking.
